Discussing their plans to meet the following week, and relating his exploits with the wily Swanton, Lefroy and Sayer. Discussing his work on Madame de Viole, stating that he will send Moore the next volume "as soon as it is therein copied." Enclosing (not present) a copy of a poem recently rejected by Argosy and All the Year Round. Mentioning that he wishes to see the Old Master Exhibition [at Burlington House] to study the Watteaux, and noting that he has just "got another charming photo of Bootle's Baby" [Dowson's favorite child actress, Minnie Terry].
